Release of XQDT Version 0.9.0
Posted on: October 2nd, 2008We are proud to announce the new release of the XQuery Development Tools (XQDT). The main focus of this release is to bring Zorba’s XQuery debugging capabilities (see zorba-xquery.org) to Eclipse.The key features of this release are:
- Integration of the Zorba debugger. This debugger enables you to suspend queries, set breakpoints, and inspect variables (see http://www.xqdt.org/screenshots/debugging.jpg for a screenshot of the new debugging perspective).
- Open Source: With this release, XQDT is available under the EPL license.
You can find the sources in XQDT’s sourceforge.net subversion repository.In order to upgrade or install XQDT, please use the update site at http://www.xqdt.org/eclipse/. XQDT is now shipped together with a binary distribution of the Zorba XQuery Processor. This allows developers to run and debug queries without any extra installation. XQDT runs on all major platforms (i.e. Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux).
